Coffee at the Cottage
The Coastal Cottage has a new Coffee brewer. The fancy, shmancy, super deluxe Keurig! Yes, the Keurig Office Pro has come to The Cottage.
I got my first Keurig in 2009 and fell in love immediately!
AND...you get a little Coffee TV show whilst it brews! See video above. OK, so that's just window dressing, but having this Keurig that has a larger water reservoir, a faster heating cycle, and 4 different brew sizes all slickly packaged makes this a truly deluxe coffee experience for our Cottage visitors and guests.
I have supplied an assortment of K-Cups for guests. From medium to dark roast, decaf, tea, to foamy Gevalia Caramel Macchiato Espresso Coffee with Froth Packets. They're in the swivel display next to the machine, in the cupboard with the spices next to the stove, and even more (100+) in zip lock bags tucked into a bin stored on the top shelf of the pantry, next to the desk area.
My latest favorite K-Cup find is the Du Monde Coffee & Chicory blend - chewey and strong!

Love my Keurig too! I've been enjoying Aldi's organic coffee cups from their brand SimplyNature Fair Trade Certified. Right now loving the Light Roast for summertime. The dark roast ones I make into iced coffee. Just remember to use a big glass measuring cup or coffee cup, brew the night before, refrigerate, and mix up an iced coffee with crushed ice topped off with cream or vanilla almond milk for your early morning book read.
ReplyDeleteHey Linda, I can't believe I missed this, sweetie! We just got an Aldi's in our neighborhood but I was annoyed that you had to have a quarter to get a shopping cart. Who has a quarter on them anymore? Anyway, thanks for the comment and the tip! I'm really excited about the Du Monde Coffee & Chicory K-Cups I got recently. Chewey good & strong!
