It's Blooming at the Coastal Cottage - Spring 2021!

The Coastal Cottage has NEW pictures & a NEW Virtual Tour! Take a walk through the house to see what you will experience during a summer vacation in Ocean View - Bethany Beach. 

 

Updates:
It was a lovely sunny day when the pics were taken and everything is sparkling!  NEW Queen Size mattresses were purchased for both the guest room & the MBR. A new Flat Screen TV was purchased for the teen bonus room above the garage. Our wireless reaches that room & this is a perfect place to stream or for gaming. Cable TV is not in this space, so bring your STREAMING devices like Amazon Firestick, Roku, or Apple TV. HDMI connections are available as well as several handy HDMI switches are connected to the HDTV's at the cottage.

As you also may see from these pics that the Coastal Cottage Beach House isn't 100% baby or kid proof. 

Being a happily child-free by choice person, this isn't something that's really on my radar. So, I wanted to show you where I have outlet covers for your safety & convenience!

Also, if you should move any decor or furniture to make accommodation for your little ones, the Virtual Tour and pictures will be helpful so you can please put them back before you leave for the next visitor with my many thanks!

New in the Neighborhood! Shipwrecked Mini Golf & Ice Cream opens up across the street! - or Across Atlantic Avenue - within walking distance of the Cottage. There's even a street bypass trail up by the Canal Bridge so you don't have to cross that busy road with beach traffic.

Want Ice Cream even closer to the Cottage? Try Bonkey's! Right behind the Ocean View Deli & family restaurant.

Dining Options? Covid has brought more food delivery apps like Door Dash & ChowNow to Bethany Beach & Ocean View! Bethany Blues will deliver through Chownow - their food is amazing! Favorites are their BBQ, Pigs on the Wing, Lime - Crab Avocado Deviled Eggs, homemade chili, and their crab cake sandwich is amazing and a great deal at only $17. 

Nearby Northeast has lovely outside patio dining with widely spaced tables & booths and a great curbside pickup program also through Chownow.  We've stayed away from dining out & do more delivery & pickups these days. But, we have eaten outside at Northeast Seafood Kitchen (pictured above) under the sweet pergola. Northeast is a family favorite, so close -  it's almost across the street. Call for reservations
or show up when they open. 

Through DoorDash right now (and this could change - more options are added & some drop off during on-season) there is Bethany Diner, Finn's Alehouse & Seafood (seafood pasta is crazy good), WaWa, Royal Farms, and another perennial family favorite & home of the amazing Peanut Butter Pie, the Big Fish Grill in Ocean View.

Want a Sneak App Peek? Download the ChowNow or DoorDash app & put in 1 Richard Court Ocean View DE to see available choices. Just don't know how much in person dining people will wanting to do this summer - but it's great that there are SO many other options.

Grocery Delivery: Groceries are also now available for delivery through Shipt & Instacart.

Shipt has Harris Teeter and Instacart has Giant in Millville (gets really busy & crowded during the summer!). Fresh There's also Bed, Bath, & Beyond, CVS, Rite Aid Pharmacy, & BJ's Wholesale Club Delivery through Instacart. Here are the other local Instacart offerings (but again, things change on apps all the time) I have been very pleased with this convenience. Only costs a few dollars more and about 2 hours wait, & it's delivered onto the porch!
